Candidates Get Environmental Seal of Approval
COLUMBUS -- In continuing efforts to tell Ohioans which candidates they can
trust to stand up for the environment, the Sierra Club today announced a slate
of candidates who've earned its endorsement for the November election.
"We're proud to say these candidates can be trusted to fight for the
clean air, clean water and special places that Ohioans care about," said
Marc Conte, Legislative Coordinator for the Ohio Chapter of the Sierra Club.
"Sierra Club members will be working in their communities to elect these
and other pro-environmental candidates. We're committed to caring for the land
that we love, and to do that we must build pro-environment majorities at all
levels of government."
