Innings
"INNINGS", our regular monthly meetings, are open to all. We begin with a short period of announcements about upcoming Miami Group events, then have a one hour program. They take place on the first Monday of every month (except holidays) at 7:00 P.M. at the Cincinnati State Workforce Development Center on 10100 Reading Rd., Reading, OH. We meet to collate the Happenings newsletter and apply address stickers. Volunteering here is a tremendous help! We meet at 6 PM at Laboiteaux Woods. Join us at any time for a bit of help. We are usually finished by 9:30PM.
Paddlesport Schools 2007
Teach your paddle a new trick. Experience the joy of safely paddling on rivers and lakes. In 2007 we again offer a full set of courses for paddlers to help get you on the water. More information, courses and brochure.
Morning Glory Ride (August)
Sponsored by the Miami Group of the Sierra Club, this event is a fun family activity, with emphasis on safety. It begins in the early morning quiet at 6:00 a.m. on August 7th at Sawyer Point Park along downtown Cincinnati's riverfront. It ends with a hearty breakfast served along the Serpentine Wall under a brilliant sunrise—Mother Nature permitting. 2,000 riders have share in this early dawn experience, making it one of the area's most popular rides. Volunteer Appreciation Dinner (November)
This annual event recognizes the volunteers who have led outings or contributed to the club in other ways.
Service Outing Potluck Dinner
This annual event has a program about on-going and future projects.
