Morning Glory Ride 2004

Every year the local Sierra Club sponsors a fundraiser and bike ride. Our last Morning Glory Ride was held on August 1st, 2004. It was the 23rd year that this popular ride was held for singles, families and clubs. The event is a relatively easy ride (one big hill), with an emphasis on safety.

It begins in the early morning quiet at 4:00am at Yeatman's Cove along downtown Cincinnati's riverfront. It ends with a full and varied breakfast served along the Serpentine Wall under a brilliant sunrise, mother nature permitting.

This year we were entertained by the music of Heidi Howe during breakfast. In past years, over 2000 riders have shared in this early dawn experience, making it one of the area's most popular rides.
