Wayne National Forest

We Need Your Help to Protect
Ohio's ONLY National Forest

The Wayne National Forest is once again threatened by the timber industry. This precious natural area, Ohio's only national forest, supports a diverse wildlife habitat, endangered and threatened species, and recreational opportunities for hiking, fishing, horse-back riding, and camping. The US Forest Service is taking public comment on the future of the forest, a comment period that happens only once every 10 years. The Forest Service could decide to open up the Wayne to destructive logging.
