Ohio Environmental Legislation

     The Ohio Sierra Club works to keep bad environmental policy out of the state operating budget, defend citizen's rights to walk along the Lake Erie shoreline, stop attempts to weaken the regulation of toxic air chemicals and guard community right to know laws. 

      Corporate interests and others who lobby to weaken environmental protections have fat budgets for public relations and campaign contributions.  The Sierra Club relies on the grassroots efforts of its members to convince elected officials that we need strong programs to protect our land, air and natural areas.  Your letters, phone calls, and active involvement fuel our legislative campaigns.
