Friday, October 24 -- Grove City, Ratings: E/S 1/2
Time: 7:00 PM. We will meet at Grove City Library, 3359 Park Street, Grove City. The walk will start at the library and proceed through the local neighborhood. An optional dinner will take place after the hike. Contact leader for further information.
Sunday, October 26 -- Sycamore State Park, Ratings: E/S 2/2
Time: 10:00 AM. Join us for a 7-mile hike through the woods and meadows of this state park seldom visited by Central Ohio Sierrans. Bring water, lunch, and hiking boots or sturdy shoes. Meet behind Bob Evans Restaurant at Westland Shopping Center (just east of I270 and West Broad Street). Contact leader for further information.
Friday, October 31 -- German Village, Ratings: E/S 1/1
Time: 7:00 PM. Join us for a walk through historic German Village. We will walk around the German Village neighborhoods and visit Frank Fetch Park. Meet at Schiller Park (Deshler and Jaeger). We will be walking about 3 miles. Wear sturdy footwear appropriate for uneven walking surfaces. Flash light and light, reflective clothing is recommended. Optional potluck after the hike. Sunday, November 2 -- Metro Park, Ratings: E/S 2/2
Time: 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. This Metro Park offers crushed gravel trails and a few hills for a challenge. There essions for this hike and each session is about 3 miles each. We will walk at a leisurely pace. Meet at the Nature Center (4265 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. (boots, water, lunch). Contact leader for further information.

Time: 7:00 PM. We will take a neighborhood walk through Grandview. Meet in the parking lot of the Grandview Library on First Ave., two blocks west of Grandview Ave. After the hike, we will have an optional dinner at a local restaurant. Contact leader for further information.
Sunday, November 9 -- Clifton Gorge and John Bryan State Park Day Hike, Ratings: E/S 2/2
Time: 9:00 AM. This 6 to 8 hike will begin at scenic Clifton Gorge with many unusual natural sights along the Little Miami River. We'll also read about an incredible escape across the gorge by a member of Daniel Boone's party and . Bring lunch, water, and hiking boots, and meet behind Bob Evans Restaurant at Westland Shopping Center (just east of I-270 and West Broad St.). Contact leader for further information.
Tuesday, November 11 -- Tour of Rumpke's Columbus Recycling, Ratings: E/S 1/1
Free tour of Rumpke's Columbus Recycling Facility. See the inside of the working operation facility where all the recyclables from your recycling bins (Columbus blue cart) are centrally received, handled, processed, sorted, and shipped out. Time: 7:00 PM. North Bexley/Franklin Park Join us for an easy paced walk of 3 miles in the parks along Alum Creek and past the grand old mansions. Meet at Franklin Park, 1777 E. Broad St., NE corner of the parking lot by the railroad. Contact leader for further information.
Sunday, November 16 -- Wildcat Hollow, Ratings: E/S 4/5
Time: 9:00 AM. This hike takes place at the Athens district of the Wayne National Forest. We will hike about 10 or 15 miles depending on interest. The ten mile version may also involve hiking in the Burr Oak State Park. The area offers terrain and vegetation typical of the Appalachian foothills of eastern Ohio. Bring water, lunch, boots, suitable attire and meet behind McDonalds at Winchester Square Shopping Center, near US 33 and Gender Road. Contact leader for further information.
Friday, November 21 -- Worthington, Ratings: E/S 2/2
Time: 7:00 PM. Join us for a 3 mile hike in the Old Worthington area. We will walk in and around Old Worthington and through the finest Worthington neighborhoods. Please wear sturdy footwear as we may encounter muddy, frozen or snowy areas. The hike will end with an optional dinner at a popular restaurant. Meet in the parking lot behind the Dairy Queen, located 2 blocks north of Route 161, on the east side of High Street. Contact leader for further information.
Sunday, November 23 -- Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park, Ratings: E/S 1/3
Time: 11:00 AM. Meet at 11:00 AM at the Ranger Station at Cedar Ridge which is 2 and 3/4 mile South of Broad St on Darby Creek Dr.The hike will be 6 miles on mostly level terrain. Carry a lunch snack. Contact leader for further information.
