Sierra Club National Field
Program is pleased to announce the hire of MacKenzie
Bailey to our Columbus staff. MacKenzie comes to us from
Buffalo, New York where she worked on political campaign
efforts.
“It is imperative that we
increase environmental awareness and continue to make
this world a healthier place to live,” says MacKenzie
regarding her decision to join the Sierra Club team.
Following a first day on the job
at a Washington DC National Training Session, MacKenzie
has jumped right in to major Sierra Club campaign work.
She will be working on Sierra Club’s Central Ohio
Building Environmental Communities campaign focused on
Cool Cities and Global Warming and later, on our
electoral efforts. A vibrant, energetic person,
MacKenzie is looking forward to meeting and working with
Sierra Club members around Central Ohio. And, she’s
looking forward to finding out what is going on in
Central Ohio.
