Action Item: Get Nuclear and Coal OUT
of Ohio’s Energy Bill
Twenty-five states have passed
energy bills mandating electric companies to generate a
percentage of electricity from advanced energy—like
efficiency, solar, and wind. Ohio’s energy bill, now
being heard by the House, includes nuclear and coal as
“advanced” energy! Ohio is the only state to define
these outdated sources as “advanced”. We have a chance
to turn this around!
