The Central Ohio Sierra Club would like to extend a hearty welcome to Brandi Whetstone, who started working as an Ohio Sierra Club staffperson at our downtown office in October.  In Central Ohio, Brandi will be working on clean water issues, continuing the work of Cyane Gresham.  Around Ohio, she will be working with local Sierra Club Groups (including COG) on leadership development and volunteer recruitment, with a focus on energy issues.

Brandi comes to us with a wealth of experience, having previously been the Executive Director of the Buckeye Forest Council and having worked for Ohio Citizen Action for 7 years.  She also comes to us with commitment, having served on the Executive Committee of the Central Ohio Sierra Club for 2 years.  Brandi hails from Northwest Ohio and has a degree in Environmental Policy and Analysis from Bowling Green State University.  On top of all this, she is a musician and plays drums!  Brandi can be reached at 614-461-0434 x 311 or by .
