Sierra Club Radio
Launched in December, 2006, the half-hour program is
broadcast on San Francisco Bay Area's Air America
affiliate, 960 AM The Quake. The show is hosted
by Orli Cotel, known for her nationally syndicated radio
column on Air America. Produced by Sierra Club staff,
the program will feature lifestyle tips and in-depth
conversations with a wide range of environmental experts
and activists, artists, and authors. Sierra Club Radio
provides us the ability to tell our stories, highlight
our issues, and share our expertise and advice directly,
unfiltered by the media. You can

Local Power Community Radio
is on the air in Columbus! Columbus has a new,
low power community radio station broadcasting on 102.1
FM. Formed as a collaboration of several community
groups, one of the groups--Bexley Public Radio
Foundation--is now broadcasting from 11 am to 1 pm
Mon.-Fri. Another Columbus organization,
Simply Living, will soon start broadcasting on this
frequency as well. If you are interested in

operations, supplying content, or just getting

Columbus says farewell to Air
America Environmentalists have lost the only
progressive radio station in Columbus. In January, 2007,
Clear Channel changed the content of WTPG, 1230 AM, all
the way from progressive to far right. Their
justification for this change is weak. Local residents
have responded by founding Ohio Majority Radio,
an organization dedicated to restoring balance on the
air, returning our public airwaves to the control of the
public, and returning Air America to Columbus. To find
