Starting this summer, the Sierra Club is launching an
exciting political campaign focused upon the Governor’s
race and designed to build political power for
conservation issues in Ohio.
Ohio needs a Governor who can take leadership on
issues of energy use, air and water quality, and land
use planning! Voters have the right to know where the
candidates stand on these critical environmental issues
and Sierra Club will be letting them know. In 2004,
Sierra Club let a highly successful voter education
campaign in Central Ohio. The Ohio Governor’s race is
stacking up to be an historic event, with the eyes of
the nation again on our state. This is your chance to be
a part of the excitement and to have fun with like
minded people!
The Sierra Club political campaign will provide
opportunities that fit your interests in being involved
